What’s new
Everything Upivia does, and what changed recently. The same content is one curl away for agents and scripts.
Docs by curl
One command returns this page as Markdown: the feature map and the changelog.
bash
curl -s https://www.upivia.com/api/v1/docs # JSON, only changes since a date: curl -s "https://www.upivia.com/api/v1/docs?format=json&since=2026-10-01"
With a personal access token you get instructions written for that token (its agents, services, caps, and ready-to-run calls):
bash
curl -s https://www.upivia.com/api/v1/docs/token -H "Authorization: Bearer $UPIVIA_TOKEN"
Every endpoint as JSON: curl -s https://www.upivia.com/api/v1/agent-docs.
Changelog
Collaboration, sites that do things, agent customization, skills
- Agents act for the person using them: if your role in a team can't run services, an agent can't do it for you either. Refusals are explained and audited.
- Sharing: files, folders, pages, projects and skills are private, shared with a team, or shared with everyone. New things start private.
- Sites: publish a page at a public link with forms, lists, kanban boards and agent buttons; optional password and custom domain.
- Customize agents: personality, instructions and rules they must follow, applied everywhere they run. Skills library with built-in playbooks; turn skills on per agent.
- Model & cost planner: compare models with live daily/weekly/monthly costs, in chat and on the agent page.
- Plans with fair limits (agents, seats, teams, public sites, storage) and a usage panel.
- Access tokens can be revealed again and rotated. Integrations has a browsable catalog with one-click “add to an agent”.
- Chat: an agent's steps fold into one expandable row, and you can see which memories it used.
Shared chat rooms, team-permissions audit, prod video renders
- Share any chat with teammates from the Share button. Roles: can post, read only, can post & invite. The owner can freeze the room or remove people; anyone can leave.
- Messages show who wrote them; teammates’ messages appear live while you’re in the room. Cards a teammate confirms run with their own permissions.
- Audit: a plain member could change roles or remove members by posting the settings form directly. Fixed at the action and in the service.
- Audit: members could create an agent but then not rename, configure, key or delete it. Members now manage agents they created; admins still manage all.
- The video editor is paused for now to keep things simple; video generation still works and clips land in My Files › Videos.
My Files, pages, live pages, sub-teams, chat context
- My Files replaces Video in the sidebar: folders, uploads, images, videos and pages in one place, with drag and drop.
- Pages: Markdown documents with autosave and history. Make a page live and an agent rewrites it on a schedule.
- Attach files, pages, folders and agents to any chat with “+” or by dragging. Drop files from your computer to upload and attach.
- Sub-teams: a team can sit under another team.
- New Home cards: pages, custom APIs, MCP servers, app connections; workflows with steps and a schedule; sub-teams.
- Cards no longer jump you to another page. They show “Open →” and the changed item is highlighted when you get there.
- Drag an agent onto a category pill to re-group it.
- Phone layout: conversations become a drawer, the dock goes full-screen, nothing scrolls sideways.
Access tokens: pages/files permission, SDK 0.4.0
- Scoped tokens need “May read and write pages and My Files” to touch pages or files. Full-access tokens and sessions are unchanged.
- SDKs 0.4.0 (TypeScript, Python): pages, files, teams.create / teams.update with a parent team.
- Token setup instructions (GET /api/v1/docs/token) now include pages and files; agent-docs lists the new endpoints.
Access tokens page, one-line setup
- Searchable service list with inline caps.
- “Copy setup command”: one curl that returns instructions written for that token.
Home is the one chat
- Talk to Upivia or any agent from Home; agent tool calls show inline with approve/reject.
- Cards for teams, invites, access tokens, allowances, scheduled tasks and approval decisions.
- Agents › Chats and the AI-builder terminal were removed; the app lands on Home.
Social connect for partner apps; posting fixes
- Partner apps can connect their users’ social accounts via a PAT with a return URL.
- Media is re-hosted before posting so TikTok and others accept it; TikTok posts land as inbox drafts.
Connect Claude.ai and ChatGPT (OAuth)
- OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration.
- Consent screen lists what the app may do; grants are listed and revocable in Settings.
Money fixes
- Team pools are allowances, not transfers.
- Owners are never blocked by a missing personal budget.
- Service lookups accept service.operation names.
Restyle: black-and-white ink
- Calmer motion, serif display type, one visual language across the app and docs.
Projects, video projects, image and video generation
- Projects group chats, files and memories with injected instructions.
- Video projects with prompt editing, undo and a render queue.
- image.generate and video.generate services (Veo, etc.) with cost reconciliation.
Feature tour
- Cards for agents, service access, budgets, memory, workflows (with steps and a schedule), projects, videos, teams and sub-teams, invites, access tokens, allowances, scheduled tasks, approvals, pages, custom APIs, MCP servers and app connections.
- Attach files, pages, folders and agents as context with “+” or by dragging them into the chat. They stay attached until you remove them.
- Agent chats show every tool call inline; turn on “Confirm actions” to approve each one.
- Conversations list, export, deep links (?session=, ?agent=), and a dock on every page.
- Share a chat with teammates: the owner adds people (can post / read only / can post & invite), can freeze the room, and everyone sees who said what. Teammates’ messages show up live.
